Vacuum Pump Specification:

Alcatel/Adixen Rotary Vane Vacuum Pumps

Description
Alcatel rotary vane vacuum pumps address the requirements of all major vacuum applications in diverse industries. Available in five different series, these pumps are dedicated to specific applications, with most models  available in universal single phase or three phase.

Features

The Adixen Range of Dry Vacuum Pumps

The Alcatel-designed dry vacuum pumps are extensively field proven and the pumping modules are optimized for operation without internal lubricant and seals. These pumps bring outstanding benefits to applications requiring high levels of cleanliness and reliability. Thanks to the frictionless design, there are no wearing parts in the path of pumped gases and therefore no particulate generation and of course no pollution from hydrocarbon vapors.

Anest-Iwata

The Anest-Iwata oil-free scroll pump is the original scroll manufacturer. With years of field experience and more performance hours than all competitors combined, the ISP-series scroll pumps are the premium choice for clean pumping technology.
The latest version "B" design incorporates increased shaft and bearing sealing performance as well as increased water handling capabilities.

FEATURES

APPLICATIONS

Leybold / Oerlikon Vacuum Pumps

Leybold TRIVAC B vacuum pumps are designed for reliability and long service-life in mind.
Directly linked to the motor via an elastic coupling element to ensure that
the pump runs evenly and smoothly. With a type B 14 flanged motor screwed
to the housing of the coupling. All pumps include a gas ballast valve as well as an inner section which may be exchanged without special tools or any special knowledge.

Trouble-free operation even at 1000 mbar intake pressure is ensured by a built-in oil pump, providing force-feed lubrication of the bearings from where a minimum amount of lubricant is fed to the compression and expansion chambers to ensure lubrication of the sliding vanes.

To minimize surface corrosion all components are protected by eliminating  non-ferrous metals.
The oil box, intake and exhaust line are made of aluminum and only solvent-resistant sealing
materials are employed.

Special features

Leybold / Oerlikon Sogevac Pumps

The new SOGEVAC SV and SVB pumps are the result of a consistent development process of the well proven oil-sealed rotary vane pumps of the original SV line.

This compact line of ‘rough vacuum’ pumps is available in sizes ranging from 10
to 100 m3 x h-1 and offers a multitude of new product engineering features
to satisfy increased market requirements.

Leybold Vacuum Pumps:

Leybold / Oerlikon Two-Stage Rotary Vane Pumps

Leybold / Oerlikon Single-Stage Rotary Vane Pumps

Leybold / Oerlikon Dry Pumps

LEYBOLD turbomolecular pumps produce a clean high or ultrahigh vacuum. They can be easily operated and provide excellent reliability. Pressures down to 10-10 mbar (0.75 x 10-10 Torr) can be reached in combination with adequately dimensioned roughing pumps.

LEYBOLD is one of the world’s leading manufacturer of turbomolecular pumps. Consequently, the TURBOVAC pumps are successfully used in many applications.

Below are listed the most popular models of Leybold turbo pumps, along with the appropriate frequency converters and cables. Please inquire about additional sizes and configurations.

Principles of Operation

The turbomolecular pump is a bladed turbine that compresses gases. By the momentum transfer from the rapidly rotating rotor blades to the gas molecules the non-directed thermal motion of the molecules is changed to a directed motion. Hence, the pumpingprocess ina turbomolecular pump results from the directed motion of the gas molecules from the inlet flange to the forevacuum port. In the molecular flow range- i.e. at pressures below 10-3 mbar (0.75 x 10-3 Torr) - the mean free path of the gas molecules is larger than the spacing between rotor and stator blades (typically some tenths of a millimeter). Consequently, the molecules collide primarily with the rotor blades with the result that the pumping process is highly efficient. In the laminar flow range- i.e. at pressures higher than 10-1 mbar (0.75 x 10-1 Torr) - the situation is completely different. The action of the rotor is diminished by the frequent collisions between the molecules. Therefore, a turbomolecular pump is not capable of pumping gases against atmospheric pressure and has to be backed by an adequate fore-vacuum pump. To create the directed motion of the gas molecules mentioned above the tips of the rotor blades have to move with supersonic velocity. Hence, a high rotational speed of the rotor is required. In case of LEYBOLD turbomolecular pumps the rotor speeds vary from about 36,000 rpm for large rotor diameters (e.g. TURBOVAC 1000, Å 20 cm (7.87 in.)) to 72,000 rpm for small rotor diameters (e.g. TURBOVAC 50, Å 6 cm (2.36 in.)

BOC Edwards Stokes Vacuum Oil Sealed Piston Pumps

The Stokes vacuum oil sealed piston pumps offer maximum reliability and performance in the industries most efficient, space-saving design. These rugged pumps have been thoroughly engineered to maximize uptime and extend operating life. The pumps can be used individually or with mechanical booster pumps to increase both performance and ultimate vacuum.
Stokes piston pumps are the industry-standard pump for many industries, including:

BOC Edwards Vacuum Pumps

To meet the requirements for high throughputs with low ultimate vacuum, Edwards has developed a totally new concept in rotary vacuum pumps: The world's first dual-mode pump.

The unique dual-mode action allows you to easily configure the unit to pump very high gas loads and also achieve excellent vacuum - all from a single pump. In most cases it increases performance at significantly reduced noise levels.

This unique performance is matched by innovative design features including a cartridge based pumping mechanism incorporating advanced new materials, a fully featured Edwards motor and a fast acting inlet valve to seal the pump for suck-back protection.

The pumps are easy to install, use and maintain with superior built quality to give lowest cost of ownership. To build a pump this advanced, Edwards has invested heavily in state-of-the-art manufacturing and assembly technology in a dedicated ISO9001 factory.

Edwards RV - easy to install, use and maintain

Installation is easy as all Edwards RV pumps feature a special dual voltage, dual frequency motor with an IEC mains input socket. Simply plug in the appropriate cable. No need for hard wiring. An on/off switch controls the pump.

The motor voltage is determined by a simple rocker switch, enabling the pump to be easily configured for use internationally.
All controls are clearly marked and have large finger grips for ease of use. Inlet and outlet are both fitted with standard NW25 flanges.

RUVAC®
Roots Pumps – Reliable, Safe, Rugged

RUVAC roots pumps have been manufactured by Oerlikon Leybold Vacuum for many decades. The dry compressor roots principle has proven itself in many areas of vacuum technology. Combined with oil-sealed fore-vacuum pumps, RUVAC roots pumps are used very effectively to increase the pumping speed at low pressures, thus extending the operating pressure range of the fore-vacuum pumps.

RUVAC roots pumps are manufactured in three series with different motor drives. The RUVAC WA series uses air cooled, flange-mounted standard three phase motors. The RUVAC WS series are equipped with canned (rotor) motors in air-cooled or water-cooled versions.

Each series consists of various sizes to always provide an optimized pumping speed for each application. All three series are available with or without integrated bypass.
